<p>PURPOSE: To prevent an engine trouble resulting from the separation of a resin plate by forming a projection in the resin plate and detecting from the appearance whether or not the resin plate is fused by ultrasonic waves to a resin body. CONSTITUTION: A resin body 1 of the air flowmeter consists of a main passage 3, a bypass passage 4, a circuit module 7, etc. A resin plate 2 and the body 1 are bonded by an ultrasonic fusing device to constitute the passage 4. At this time, a projection 5 is formed in the resin plate 2 to judge the ultrasonic fusion of the resin plate 2 from the appearance. After the fusing, the projection 5 is broken into such a size as to give no influences on characteristics and be detectable from the appearance. The shape of the projection is a semi-circle, a cylinder or the like. At least one or more projections are arranged (for instance, at four corners). When the projections 5 are formed in the resin plate 2 as above, it, can be detected from the appearance whether the resin plate 2 is fused to the body 1. Accordingly, arm engine trouble due to the separation of the resin plate 2 can be prevented.</p> |
