<p>PURPOSE: To enable improving accuracy in the timing in producing an ignition signal by extracting information on the side distance to a point which is in an anticipated path of a target and in a direction of scattering fragments of the warhead of a guided missile. CONSTITUTION: There is provided a side-path distance-calculating part 50 for calculating the distance at which a target passes beside a warhead from an output signal from a first demodulation part 14 outputted from a third switch 40, a mis-distance outputted from a mis-distance-calculating part 24, a beam tilt angle from a narrow antenna 37, and beam tilt angles from both upper and lower side antenna 7, 8. Information on relative speed with a target 10 at the time of its passage in the proximity is extracted from a target signal detected by an active VT fuze N and use is made of this information for the timing in producing an ignition signal. Since this method enables information on the side as far as a point, which is in an anticipated path of a target and in a direction of scattering fragments of the warhead of a guided missile, to be made use of for the timing in producing an ignition signal, an improvement of the timing in accuracy in producing the ignition signal results.</p> |
