PURPOSE: To obtain a flame-retardant resin composition which can be easily produced and formed into a sheet and is suitable for use as a core sheet having excellent flexibility and satisfactory processability in bending. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises 100 pts.wt. matrix resin consisting of 30-50wt.% polyethylene resin and 70-50wt.% ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, 250-500 pts.wt. aluminum hydroxide, and 0.3-25 pts.wt. saturated fatty acid.
