The plant comprises a boiler, a burner (2) and a device for feeding fuel to the burner. The device is fitted above burner and comprises rotatable carousel (12). The rotatable carousel has several tangential separate compartments for receiving packets in which fuel is pre-packed. The burner comprises a vertical shaft (28) which has the same horizontal cross-sectional shape as the individual fuel packets. When the packets are fed downwards into the burner, the shaft is filled out. |
