PURPOSE: To provide a styrene resin composition having excellent strength, appearance and printing characteristics and suitable for packaging material and provide a sheet, film or shrinkable film produced by using the composition. CONSTITUTION: This styrene resin composition is composed of (1) 98-50wt.% of a rubber-modified styrene resin composed of a continuous phase consisting of (A) 20-70wt.% of an aromatic vinyl monomer and (B) 30-80wt.% of an acrylic acid (or methacrylic acid) ester monomer and a disperse phase having dispersed particle diameter of 1.0-1.2μm and composed of 1-20wt.% of a rubbery elastomer, (2) 1-20wt.% of a petroleum resin containing >=30wt.% of aromatic component and (3) 1-30wt.% of a block copolymer containing a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and a conjugated diene at a weight ratio of 20:80 to 80:20. This invention also relates to a sheet, film or shrinkable film produced by using the composition. |
