DRIVING DEVICE

The driving device is designed for driving of mechanical and hydraulic mechanisms. It has increased power and reduced losses having rotative motion of the outlet shaft. The device consists of a housing (1) in which an outlet shaft (2) rests with unions for free travel (3 & 4) and nitinol plates (5). The free travel union (3) of the outlet shaft (2) is connected to a hub (7) to which the plates of nitinol (5) are fitted by pivots (8), the other ends of which are pivotly connected to a collar (9) which rests on the outlet shaft (2) by means of a free travel union (10). Collar (9) is connected, by a second free travel union (11) to the housing (1), and a third union for free travel (4) is fitted between the housing (1) and the hub (7). A device (12) for periodic heating and cooling of the nitinol plates (5) is provided which by a control unit (15) is connected to a source of supply (16).
