<p>PURPOSE: To provide a rolling mill provided with a horizontally bending mechanism and control method for reducing deviations and, consequently, imparting desired horizontal bending to work rolls, even when positional deviation and pressure deviation are generated on the upper and lower or right and left cylinders. CONSTITUTION: Hydraulic pressures P0 in accordance with the desired pressing forces of a pair of upper and lower bending cylinders 14, 15 are respectively set, the upper and lower bending cylinders 14, 15 are operated to set displacementsΔL0 in accordance with these set hydraulic pressures, the respective oil pressures P at the time of working are detected, the difference between these average value and the set hydraulic pressures P0 are multiplied by a prescribed gain and they are added to the respective set displacements. This control is repeatedly executed and, in this way, the positional deviation is reduced.</p> |
