Control device for the flushing water cistern of a toilet, comprising two pulling members 2, 3; 4, 5, one of them 2, 3 for a large quantity of water and the other 4, 5 for a smaller quantity of water, which pulling members communicate with a pulling rod 9 which reaches through the cover of the flushing water cistern and controls the bottom valve of the flushing water cistern. The two pulling members comprise a pulling knob 2, 4 and, connected thereto, vertically movable pulling arms 3, 5, which pulling arms are placed inside the body 1 of the control device, and where the movement of the pulling arm 3, 5 of the pulling member for the smaller quantity of water is limited by a limit mechanism 11, 12. In the embodiment according to the invention, the limit mechanism 11, 12 consists of a groove 12 and a projection 11 which moves in the latter, so either the groove or the projection is situated in the body 1 of the control device while the other is situated in the the pulling arm 5 for the smaller quantity of water. <IMAGE>
