PURPOSE: To provide a device capable of switching the stereoscopic video images and normal video images of a remote site without the feeling of incompatibility without letting an operator take eyes off a display in a remote operation. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a camera 6 for photographing the normal video images P2 between the cameras 4a and 4b for photographing the stereoscopic video images P1, the display 1 for displaying the video images photographed by the respective cameras and a detector for detecting whether or not spectacles 6 for the stereoscopic video images are present in front of the eyes of the operator H. Corresponding to the output of the detector, the stereoscopic video images P1 and the normal video images P2 are switched and displayed on the display 1. Thus, since the stereoscopic video images are viewed through one action only when it is required, the fatigue of the operator is reduced. |
