PURPOSE: To enable the instantaneous control of a motor position by a method wherein the present position of the motor is synchronized with sine wave data and trapezoidal wave data stored in a ROM by using position data. CONSTITUTION: By specifying an address in a ROM 10 by position data P0 -Pn , 8-bit data are outputted to a D/A converter 20. At that time, by inputting the position data P1 to one of the address inputs of the ROM via an inverter, reference current signals for U-phase and V-phase currents among 3-phase currents can be outputted to the D/A converter 20 with the position data P1. The data inputted to the D/A converter 20 are converted into analog signals and applied to 4-quadrant multipliers 30 and 31, to obtain the signals outputted to the U- phase and the V-phase. The output signal to a W-phase is obtained by inputting the output signals of the 4-quadrant multipliers 30 and 31 to a multiplier 40. With this constitution, a motor position can be controlled instantaneously. |
