PURPOSE: To prevent ink from reversely flowing or directly flowing in a downward posture to prevent such an accident as contamination of an inside of a barrel, hands, clothes, and the like by a method wherein an outer peripheral part of a top of a barrel is brought into close contact with an inner periphery of an inner cap insertion port, and a venting means connecting an inner hole to inside the barrel is provided. CONSTITUTION: A top cap 3 is press fitted into a rear end hole of a cap 1 with a clip 2 clamped between a fixture 4 and the top cap 3. An inner cap 5 having a closed rear end is inserted into an inner hole of the cap 1 so that the rear end is press fitted to the fixture 4. An insertion port 8 of an inner hole part 7 closed by a partition wall 6 is formed frontward of the inner hole part 7. An outer barrel part 9 is formed outside. The cap 1 is fixed by elastically engaging a fastening part 10 of the outer barrel part with a fastening groove 13 of a ferrule. A top ball site is tightly inserted into the inner hole part 7. A venting groove 54 allows air to flow between the inner hole part 7 and a rear end of a follower through a vent hole of a tail closure 31 of a refill 30. |
