<p>PURPOSE: To economically remove a harmful component in exhaust gas by a simple and durable device. CONSTITUTION: Exhaust gas is introduced into a neutralization tower 12 provided with a first duct 14 and a second duct 18. The harmful component in the exhaust gas is allowed to react by 2 neutralizer 39 stacked in the neutralization tower 12 in random and it sticks on a surface of the neutralizer 39. Water is fed toward the surface of the neutralizer 39 from a water feed pipe 24 by operating a pump 26 after a specified period elapsed and the surface of the neutralizer 39 is washed. The exhaust gap is further fed to the neutralizer 39 of which a new surface is exposed again thus the neutralizer 39 is repeatedly used for removing the harmful component in the exhaust gas.</p> |
