A top loading type mini disk player comprises a cover(10) swing-opening to stand at right angle to the top face of the housing(12), a turntable on which a disk cartridge(14) is loaded from upside, a guideway(16) formed on a ride of the housing, a shutter opening slide means(22) operating the shutter(20) of the disk cartridge loaded on the turntable. The shutter is slide-opened and shut by the motion of the cover having a reciprocating link(18) connected to the guideway and the cover.
