SUBSTANCE: device measuring electric energy consumption has at least one sigma-delta converter 20 adapted to transmit sequence of digital pulses, digital counter 21 to sum output signal of sigma-delta converter and signalling means 32 to generate output signal 38 at moment when summary signal achieves specified value, metering gear containing means for digital adjustment of amplification of sigma-delta converter incorporating digital programmable storage 33 to store parameter presenting amplification of counter. Value of parameter can be programmed from outside. Device also includes means 32 of digital logic for logical combination of amplification parameter with digital sum stored in counting means to find number of pulses required to achieve value specified in advance and to send output pulse.
