FIELD: power engineering; erection of overhead communication and power transmission lines. SUBSTANCE: device depends for its operation on application of adhesive and abrasive material on clamp strand arranged in inclined position on poles; in the process, strand is set in rotary motion while adhesive and abrasive material are fed from heads displacing along strands (rotary motion of strands is converted by means of servo roller into translational movement of heads). EFFECT: improved labour productivity due to automation of pasting inner surfaces of strands and coating them with abrasive material for supporting fiber-optic cables of communication lines or conductors of overhead power transmission lines. 2 cl, 1 dwg
