C. TO QUASISINUSOIDAL PULSE-WIDTH MODULATED VOLTAGE. FIELD: power converter engineering; development of inverters possessing better output voltage characteristics and supplied with power from low-voltage (12-27 V) sources. SUBSTANCE: two voltages with two-polarity pulse-width modulation are used for shaping quasisinusoidal unipolar pulse-width modulated voltage; to this end, use is made of null inverter cells; one of two-polar pulse-width modulated voltages is shaped by comparing master (sine-wave) signal with odd-numbered pulses of sweep signal and other voltage, by comparing same master signal with even-numbered pulses of sweep signal. Voltages are summed up either in series or in parallel circuits. In the latter case, use is made of adding electromagnetic unit (two-winding transformer). EFFECT: improved output voltage characteristics. 6 dwg |
