FIELD: manufacture of nonwoven filter materials designed for cleaning gas-and-air media of dust; cleaning air of internal combustion engines of dust, in particular. SUBSTANCE: nonwoven filter material consists of loose inlet layer made of coarse synthetic fibres of intermediate thickness and density of packing and outlet layer which is more dense; outlet layer is made of thin synthetic fibres fastened with flat bonded or thermally fastened nonwoven material or having fused outer surface on side of air outlet; fibre layers are fastened together by fibre bundles by means of needle punching without forming through bundles and holes after needles. Inlet and outlet layers consists of fibres of definite thickness at definite relationship between thicknesses of fibres of inlet, intermediate and outlet layers, viz. : diameter of fibres of inlet layer does not exceed 45 mk, intermediate layer consists of layer whose diameter exceeds diameter of fibres of outlet layer by 1.5 to 2.5 times but is lesser than diameter of fibres of inlet layer. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. |
