Partial set of false teeth

The set of false teeth (1) has an arrangement (6) for clamping the set to the good teeth. It consists of a movable S-shaped arm (8) and a fixed support arm (7) which lies against the tooth (2) on the inner side of the jaw. The movable arm lies on the outside of the jaw and can rotate about an axis (9) which is set into the plastics material on the metallic base of the prosthesis. The inner section of the movable axis acts as a lever (10) which the patient can operate when removing the prosthesis. The lever has a retaining lug which matches a corresponding location in the surface of a false tooth. This lug ensures the lever is kept in its closed position until the patient puts enough force on the lever. Two such fixing arrangements are provided to ensure secure clamping in the patient's mouth.
