<p>A method of inhibiting the transcription of a p120 gene by using an oligonucleotide capable of forming a triple strand in the homopurine/homopyrimidine domain of a p120 gene; an oligonucleotide capable of forming the triple strand and having the base sequence of GAAWGGAGGAGGAGAAA, or the sequence complementary thereto, or a derivative of the oligonucleotide; and a medicinal composition containing the oligonucleotide, being reduced in the side effects, and serving as a preventive or remedy for cancer.</p> |
