The levelling device has a retaining rail (3) on the upper side of the rear rectangular hollow profile (2) and which overlaps the front rectangular hollow profile (1) on the upper side. The retaining rail has a longitudinal slot (6) extending roughly over the whole length of the rail, and the retaining rail is attached to the front rectangular profile by two screw fasteners (7) located in the slot. The retaining rail has a square edge section (4). It overlaps an area of the front side of the front rectangular profile.
