Heat insulation system between rafters in already constructed roof

The heat insulation system is inserted into an existing building roof. It includes profile rails which consist of two panels (1) and a squared timber (3). The squared timber has two grooves (2) running in parallel, into which the panels can be inserted. The squared timber of the profile rail is shorter than the panels. The panels of the rail are shorter by a corresponding amount such that panels and timbers can overlap. The insertable panels are made from coarse grade chipboard.
