The shaft of the pre-cutting saw blade (10) is mounted on a slide carriage (16) which is displaceable on a guide rail (18). An arm (22) is fixed on the rail (18) and swivels with same about the longitudinal axis. The slide carriage has a first threaded bore and the arm a second threaded bore. A threaded bolt (30) rotatable about its longitudinal axis has two thread sections (32,34) of the same thread orientation and different pitch whereby one thread section (32) engages in the first bore on the slide carriage and the other section (34) in the second bore on the arm (22).
