An aqueous contact adhesive dispersion consists of at least two components, of which a copolymer of vinyl ester, acrylic acid ester, methacrylic acid ester, ethylenically unsaturated, cross-linking compounds, ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids, (meth)acryl amides, ethylenically unsaturated compounds with hydroxyalkyl functionalities and ethylenically unsaturated sulphates and/or sulphonates. The second component is a phenol resin based on resol, metal oxides and thermoplastic phenol/terpene resin. The combination of these components improves both thermal resistance and combined tension and shear resistance. |
