Furniture compression closure with snap-action latch

The compression closure for furniture comprises a snap-action latch (1) which ejects obliquely a tilting arm (2) via a sprung mechanism. A permanent magnet acts as a counteraction member to the snap-action latch. The permanent magnet is located on the snap-action latch tilting arm, and cracks with a metal counteraction member. A preset pressure on the furniture door triggers the snap-action latch.
