Pressure compensation system in rotary piston engine

The rotary piston engine (1-8) has crossed rigid pistons and an out-of-balance compensation mechanism with two systems necessary for it to operate as an engine. One system ensures induction and compression and the other system ensures ignition, expansion and exhaust. Double sided sealing of the compensation mechanism via the piston sealing arrangement builds up a counter pressure to the explosive pressure of the working chamber, achieving compensation of the pressure ratios.
