On the office desk frame part (1.2) is longitudinally slidable and fastenable a coupling element (3) of an accessory securing coupling mechanism. The coupling element has at least one undercut groove (3.20) coacting with a longitudinally extending protrusion (1.20) on the frame part. The protrusion has a cross-section matching that of the groove. Alternatively the groove may be located on the frame part and the longitudinal protrusion on the coupling element. The coupling element may have a slot, starting at the groove bottom and coacting with clamping screws (3.12).
