New bis:amino-thiophenol cpds. based on bis:hydroxyphenyl-per:fluoro-alkane

摘要

Bis-aminothiophenol cpds. of formula (III) or their salts are new (where Rf = 1-10C perfluoroalkylidene). Also claimed is (i) a process for the prodn. of (III) by reacting the corresp. bis-amino cpd. (I) with S2Cl2 to form a bis-dithiazolium salt (II) which is then treated with aq. alkali metal hydroxide soln. followed by inorganic acid (partial formulae shown): (ii) a process for the prodn. of salts of (III), by reacting (I) with NH4SCN and HCl to form a bis-benzthiazole deriv. (IV) and then adding aq. alkali followed by inorganic acid: (iii) a process for the prodn. of (III) by treating an inorganic acid salt of (III) with aq. ammonia. (iv) crosslinking agents contg. cpds. (III), for crosslinking fluoro-elastomers with crosslinkable CN gps..
