FIELD: gas refrigerating machines operating by Sterling cycle. SUBSTANCE: in starting the motor, the working gas being compressed enters gas bottle from compression chamber due to pressure drop; gas flows through valve device making sealing rings move towards surface of EXPULSION rod forming tight contact, thus providing for reliable seal of rod. When motor is stopped, compressed gas is bypassed from bottle to working volume of refrigerating machine due to pressure drop through hole of smaller diameter in body of ball of valve device.
