METHOD OF SUB-STANDARD HEAVY WATER CLEARANCE FROM PROTIUM AND TRITIUM

FIELD: production of good (standard) heavy water from water, that has protium and tritium isotopes with concentrations over tolerable one. SUBSTANCE: clearance is exercised in two in series connected columns of catalytic isotope exchange of hydrogen with liquid water. Columns have lower and upper joint of stream circulation. In the case one of columns is used for water clearance from tritium and another - from protium. Hydrophobic catalyst (platinum on polysorb). Further concentration of tritium up to pure tritium is exercised by multistage isotope exchange of hydrogen with hydride forming solid phase, preferably - with palladium.
