FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy and, namely, production of aluminium by electrolysis in cryolite-alumina melts. SUBSTANCE: anode device with a new anode frame and ventilation ducts made around the edges of the metalwork upper frame and enveloping the anode frame provides for a reliable isolation of the above-anode space from getting of alumina dust onto the carbon anode, and reduces effluents into environment by creation of an organized and effective system of collection and removal of gases with an efficiency of 95 to 97%. At is attained due to the fact that the upper edge of the anode frame is arranged below the lower fascia of the metalwork frame, and the ventilation ducts are made around the edges of the frame and envelop the anode frame. EFFECT: improved quality and reduced effluents into environment. |
