The device includes a Hall effect probe (1) which measures the flow of current in a cable. The probe is mounted with a magnetic circuit (CM) which is installed in a flexible tube (2) formed from an insulating material which is capable of elastic deformation e.g. silicone. The magnetic circuit is formed of two independent series of sheets (3a-3c,4a-4c) with their ends overlapped on opposite sides of the probe. Two printed circuit boards (5,6) are arranged in parallel and are riveted (9) to the ends of the sheets and to wedges (7,8) of similar thickness. the ends of the elastic tube are stretched over the plates. |
