The boot has a shell (1) with an opening (5) across its width and above the toe (2) which limits the pivoting of this. A cover (6), under the opening, extends from the toe and slides under the upper part of the shell when the toe pivots. A median tongue (9), extending from the cover, is moved by a bolt (10) moved transversally, against a spring (15), by a cable (14). This is connected to a lever (17), behind the heel, that is joined to a lever (20) with two arms by a cam (19). One arm (20a) rests on the shell in its closed position.
