<p>The filter station comprises a supply (78) of the liquid or gas to be treated, a filtering device (1) made of a cellulose sponge type resilient matter, and having one surface in contact with a perforated plate support (61), means for applying pressure on the surface of the filtering device (1) opposite the surface in contact with the perforated plate (61) to force liquid or gas through the filtering device (1) while compressing it, filtered-liquid discharging means (77) and means for discharging (79) the solids retained by the filtering device (1), and adapted for use when the filtering device (1) is decompressed. The filtering device is advantageously in the form of a cylinder (60) associated with means for rotating it about its axis (65) so as to centrifugally filter the suspended matter.</p> |
