Lime converter for physical treatment of water in pipe using magnetism

An external circular assembly surrounds a pipe and applies physical treatment to water flowing within pipe. The assembly consists of two half-shells (3, 4) around a non-magnetic section of pipe (30), and secured to each other and the pipe by four end half-caps (5, 6; 7,8). The pipe is partially clad within the shells by radial magnets (13, 14) of diametrically opposed polarisation.
