The invention relates to methods and apparatuses for producing very fine air bubbles for the purpose of floatation of sludges. The aim is to form the apparatuses, on the one hand, in a manner suitable for gas-bubble formation or, on the other hand, to separate the devices for the decompression of the liquid from those of the micro-bubble formation by making use of the new knowledge according to the invention, concerning the degasification of gas-oversaturated liquids. The object of these measures is to achieve an equal or better micro-bubble formation with lower pressures during the liquid gasification.
