The boat has a retractable directional paddle (6) with one part immersed relative to the hull (2). The paddle is set up outside the hull and is free to turn relative to the boat prow. The paddle angular position relative to the boat longitudinal axis is adjustable by controls between two extreme positions. These angular position controls are coupled to the steering control (3,4,5). The steering control comprises a rudder (3) having a rudder blade (4) and a bar (5). The blade adjustment controls comprise a runner (19) moving in a slide (9) carried by the bar and centred relative to the axis of the rudder blade, and two tiller ropes (17,18). Two ends (17A,18A) of the tiller ropes are connected to the paddle and their other ends engage in the runner. The two ends of the tiller ropes in the runner are fixed to an end of an elastic element whose other end is attached to the bar end (5A) projecting inside the hull. |
