The method mixes saw dust from lumber mills, chicken droppings from poultry farms, bean curd dregs from bean curd plants in proper proportions to produce bars of the mixture composition. Saw dust kinds are selected to be proper for particular mushroom and dried. Chicken droppings are dried until just before carbonization to be mixed in the ratio of 50 to 50. The resulted mixture is again mixed with dried saw dust in the ratio of 30 to 70 to be press-formed into a shape of log piece at the temperature of 90-150 deg.C. The press-formed log piece is then drilled for holes to receive mushroom fungi for culturing. The remnants of the log piece remaining after harvest may be used for field crops or a feed for cattle.
