The rotation type elevator increases the transporting efficiency and reduces the occupying space. The elevator consists of the first to nth cage-ways(5a-5n) formed around the principal axis(1), with multiple dividing walls(4a-4n), the first to nth cages(11a-11n) which are placed in each cage-way, driving rollers(15) which make the cages move smoothly and are fixed on each side and rear surface of cages, and the first to nth lifting devices(10a-10n) which are fixed on supporting device(9) which is protruded radially from the principal axis(1), circularly, so as to move the first to nth cages(11a-11n) by winding rope(12) respectively.
