A method of installing floor heating apparatus, in which pipes capable of circulating a heating medium liquid therethrough are installed on a floor substrate to be covered by a floor substrate material having fluidity. After an adhesive is applied to a surface of the floor substrate, a piping assembly comprising a plurality of pipes formed of an elastic material and a base plate of an elastic material integrally supporting the pipes is installed on the adhesive so that an underside of the base plate is bonded to the floor substrate through the adhesive. A self-leveling material is made to flow and extend on the piping assembly bonded to the floor substrate. According to such method of installation, it is possible to rapidly and simply install a multiplicity of floor heating pipings on a floor surface and to relatively readily increase an installation density of floor heating pipings. Further, it is possible to prevent the pipes from floating or positioning out of place to evenly embed the pipes, so that a thickness of the self-leveling material can be reduced to about 2 cm and temperature distribution on a finished floor surface can be made uniform.
