<p>A method for liquefying pressurised natural gas including at least one refrigeration cycle using a coolant mixture, and comprising at least the following steps: (a) said coolant mixture is at least partially condensed by compression (K1) and cooling (C1), e.g. by means of an external cooling fluid, to give at least one vapour fraction (5) and a liquid fraction (6); (b) each of the vapour and liquid fractions is at least partially decompressed (T1, V1) separately to form a light fluid (M1) mainly consisting of a vapour phase, and a heavy fluid (M2) mainly consisting of a liquid phase; (c) the fluids (M1, M2) are at least partially mixed together to form a low-temperature mixture (10); and (d) the pressurised natural gas (1) is liquefied and sub-cooled by means of a heat exchange with the low-temperature mixture from step (c).</p> |
