<p>Provided is a parts washer (10) that includes a multi-tiered basin (14), a cleaning fluid (72) and a biological component, living within the fluid (72), that breaks down organic waste. The multi-tiered basin (14) includes a sink member (16) with a false bottom (62), and a support grid (58) and filter (60) are interposed between the false bottom (62) and a bottom panel (50) of the sink member (16). The false bottom (62), support grid (58) and filter (60) are readily removable from the sink member (16). The tank (12) is partially filled with the cleaning fluid (72) and a pump (73) and conduit assembly (74) direct a flow of the cleaning fluid (72) to the basin (14). The cleaning fluid (72) discharged into the basin (14) flows through a drain hole (64) in the false bottom (62), through filter (60) and support grid (52), and then through a drain hole (52) in the bottom panel (50) of the sink member (16) back into the tank (12) for reuse.</p> |
