The device has a connecting element (26) pressed onto the current rail (busbar) (20) under spring force. The connecting element, in the form of a curved contact spring, has two contact positions (28,29) which are simultaneously pressed onto different points on the current rail, pref. lying one after the other in the direction of the current rail. The free end of the contact spring is approximately parallel to the attachment plane in the direction of the cap-section profile rail and two protrusions facing towards the current rail and at a distance from each other.
