Integrated circuit holding and transport support

The support includes locking members (31,32) swivelably mounted on a support body (27) at opposite sides of an integrated circuit (18) retained in a depression (19). The locking members have hold-down lugs (31a,32a) which respond to the swivel of the members to move from a first position, facing the integrated circuit top, to a second position away from it. Vertically movable adjusters (39,41) are located in the body and coupled to the locking members to drive the swivel between the two positions. Springs (48,49) on the body prestress the adjusters upwards and swivel the locking members into the first position.
