The re-fuelling cap (1) is displaced between a closed position in which the re-fuelling recess (3) is not accessible and an open position in which it is accessible, under control of a pivot lever (7). This is attached to the cap at its front end so that it pivots about an axis parallel to the pivot axis (8) at the rear end of the lever, with a guide element (9) secured to the cap displaced along a guide (11) extending along the adjacent sidewall of the re-fuelling recess. Alternatively the cap has attached guide elements on either side, cooperating with respective guides provided in the opposing sidewalls of the re-fuelling recess.
