<p>In an extrusion process for producing high-density extrudates with a washing or cleaning action, a uniform, solid and pourable pre-mixture produced with the addition of a plasticiser and/or slip agent is pressed into a strand at high pressures of up to 200 bar and, after leaving the die, the strand is cut by a cutting device to the predetermined grain size, the raw extrudate being taken while still plastic and moist to a further shaping processing stage and then dried. It is possible to reduce the adhesion of the extrudates in the drying stage by adding drying powders as powdering agents either during the drying stage or directly before the raw extrudate is transferred to the drier, but in any event after the completion of any shaping stages in the process.</p> |
