The invention relates to concentrated textile softeners based on penta and/or dipentaerythritol fatty acid partial esters. By the addition of a special emulsifier combination of quaternary ammonium compounds and non-ionic compounds it is possible considerably to improve the cold-water dispersibility of such concentrated softeners. The quaternary ammonium compounds are quaternated alkoxylated alkyl amines and/or esterquats. Suitable non-ionic emulsifiers are ethoxylated and/or propoxylated fatty acids or fatty acid esters and closed-terminal-group fatty alcohol polyglycol ethers.
