Powdered material to be compressed into tablet form, is contained in a hopper feed across the output of which is a roller comprising at least four individual cells so that the press is supplied with precise amounts of powder to form each tablet, without alteration, adjustment or repetitive cleaning. The tablet pressing table (1) receives powdered material from a fill container (10), with fill level sensor (12), which is fed from a hopper (5), a tubular feed section (21) and a cylindrical grooved roller (35). As the roller rotates on its horizontal shaft (39) the powdered material is transferred to the output duct (22), and then the fill container (10) without clogging.
