The rotating discs (1,2,3) are shown in the figure, each having a certain number of symbol fields (4). They are driven round by the electric motor (7), controlled by a control unit (not shown), and this motor is connected by a lever (6) with a "paddle element " (5). At least one of the symbol fields on one of the discs can be uncovered by the movement of the paddle element, at random times. There is an additional symbol an this paddle.
