A connecting apparatus (1) is attached to a glass panel by gluing it together with the glass panel. For this purpose, an apparatus (1) is provided for constructionally connecting a glass panel to a supporting structure, which apparatus comprises a surface (2) for gluing together with the glass panel, and a connecting means (3) for attaching the apparatus (1) to the supporting structure, the glue surface (2) being rotationally symmetrical with a circular contour and the glue surface (2) being provided with a groove (4) running along its periphery.
