The wheel comprises a contact area (4) of a rim plate (1), together with the area of the fixing bores (3) for the wheel screws (6), formed from a light metal, such as aluminium, . The contact area can be formed with the area of the fixing bores as an aluminium disc (5) inserted in the rim plate, with the plate and disc aligned coaxial with each other.
